This Privacy Policy explains how Sound Creations Lab (“SCL Labs,” “we,” “us”), a project of SC Lucas PLLC, handles information across soundcreationslab.com, our beta program at beta.soundcreationslab.com, and the apps we publish — including Voice-Vault, Morse Tappers, ScrollOCR, GBP Architect, and PrintGraph. We build software for people who care about their privacy, and we keep the data we collect to the minimum we need.

02Information we collect

Information you give us

Email address — when you sign up to be notified about a launch on our website, or request beta access on our beta hub.
App selections — when you request beta access, the apps you ask to test so we can send the right invitations.
Messages — anything you choose to send us by email.

Information collected automatically

Privacy-friendly analytics. Our website uses Plausible, a cookieless analytics tool that records aggregate, anonymized usage (such as page views and referring sites). It does not use cookies and does not track you across other sites.
Server logs. Like any website, our hosting provider processes basic technical data (such as IP address, approximate country, and browser type) to deliver pages and protect against abuse.

Information our apps process

Several of our apps are designed to do their core work on your device. Voice-Vault and ScrollOCR process audio and images locally and do not send that content to us. Other apps necessarily work with data you provide — for example, GBP Architect analyzes the Google Business Profile information you choose to review, and PrintGraph (a macOS app) processes order and fulfillment details to route print jobs to third-party print providers you connect. Each app’s App Store or TestFlight listing includes its specific privacy details, which control for that app.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for third-party advertising.

04Service providers we rely on

We use a small number of providers to run our service. They process information only to provide their function to us:

Apple — distributes our apps and beta builds through the App Store and TestFlight. When you join a beta, your participation is handled under Apple’s privacy policy.
Cloudflare — hosts and serves our websites.
Plausible — cookieless website analytics.
Email and notification tools — we use self-hosted tools to record sign-ups and notify our team of new requests.
Print providers (PrintGraph only) — when you connect a print lab, order details are shared with that provider to fulfill your orders.

05How long we keep information

We keep your email and request details for as long as needed to run the beta program and send the notifications you asked for, and then no longer than necessary. You can ask us to delete your information at any time.

06Your choices and rights

Unsubscribe — you can opt out of notifications at any time.
Access or deletion — email us to access, correct, or delete the information we hold about you.
Regional rights — depending on where you live (for example, the EEA, UK, or California), you may have additional rights over your personal information. We honor those requests where they apply.

Our website and apps are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

08Security

We take reasonable measures to protect the limited information we hold. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure, but we work to keep your information safe and to collect as little of it as possible in the first place.

We may update this policy as our products evolve. When we do, we will revise the “last updated” date above and, for material changes, provide a more prominent notice.
